Rumen Radev and Ilham Aliyev discussed energy cooperation

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev discussed in a telephone conversation the opportunities for deepening cooperation between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan in areas of mutual interest, including energy, economy and investment. 
Radev praised Azerbaijan's commitment to a fruitful partnership on the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector (IGB) project. The presidents agreed that its implementation would contribute to the energy diversification not only of the region but also of the European continent. 
They also discussed opportunities for exchanges in the field of technologies related to the production of green hydrogen and electricity.
