The Minister of Energy Rosen Hristov and Minister of Economy Nikola Stoyanov met today with the management of the companies "Lukoil Neftohim" and "Lukoil Bulgaria". Fuel prices and possible measures to lower them for the end user were discussed at the meeting. A task force has been created with representatives of the ministries and the two companies in search of a permanent optimization of fuel prices.

"Inflation in Bulgaria for the first half of the year was 17.2%, which ranks us in one of the first places in the EU in terms of this indicator. There is no way to overcome this trend with state aid, because this accelerates the inflationary processes", Stoyanov pointed out.
