On the second day of the European Individual Classical Chess Championship in Prague, Bulgarian chess players scored two wins, two draws and two losses, BTA reported.

Nadia Toncheva, 17, scored a full 2 points against Govhar Beydullayeva of Azerbaijan, while Nurgyul Salimova beat Ekaterini Pavlidou. Thus she made up for her draw in the first round of the championship.

Former world champion Antoaneta Stefanova failed to record a second win and only reached a draw against Serbia's Tijana Blagojevic. Young Beloslava Krusteva, who had as opponent Estonian May Narva, number 11 in the starting list, also had a draw.

After the first two rounds only 12 of all 123 chess players have the maximum 2 points.
