Darya Dugina, the daughter of a close ally of Putin, dies in car explosion

In another video address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned his fellow citizens to be especially vigilant next week, as Russia may try to do something "particularly cruel." On August 24, the country will celebrate the 31st anniversary of its independence.

On Saturday, there were attacks again on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Shells exploded in the immediate vicinity of an administrative building, critical facilities were not affected. According to the Russian side, the strikes were carried out by Ukrainian forces, Ukraine has denied these accusations.

A drone was shot down over the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the annexed Crimea, AFP reported. The governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, blamed Ukrainian forces for the attempted attack. There are no reports of human casualties or serious material damage.

Darya Dugina - daughter of the philosopher and political scientist Alexander Dugin, a close ally of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and often dubbed "Putin's brain" by the Western media, was killed in a car explosion near Moscow last night. The SUV Darya Dugin was travelling in exploded while in motion, as 30-year-old Darya died on the spot. By exception, she got into her father's car, not her own. It is assumed that he was the target, reports TASS, citing the head of the civil movement "Russian Horizon" Andrey Krasnov, an acquaintance of the deceased. The two Duginis were in the EU sanctions package.

The government of Ukraine has allowed men of mobilization age, representatives of companies exporting their products, from September 1 to travel abroad for a week if they have no tax obligations. The Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Sviridenko, defined the decision as an important step in support of business, reports the UNIAN news agency, reminding that the martial law in Ukraine has been extended until November 21 of this year.
