Significant cooling in Western Bulgaria, weather to remain warm along the Black Sea on Sunday

Tomorrow, August 21, powerful cumulonimbus clouds will develop over Western and Central Bulgaria, there will be short-term precipitation, thunderstorms and hail. In some areas, precipitation will be temporarily intense and significant in quantity.  Temperatures in the western half of the country will drop significantly, the maximum will be 25°-28°C, in Sofia - around 25°C. 


Along the Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny, over the northern regions with temporary increases in cloudiness. It will rain lightly in some places. A light to moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 28°C and 32°C. The temperature of the sea water is 26°-27°C. 

In the mountains, over the massifs of the western half of the country, powerful cumulonimbus clouds will develop. There will be intense showers and thunderstorms. Sunny weather will prevail over the rest of the regions. he maximum temperature at 1,200 meters will be around 20°C, at 2,000 meters - around 14°C.
