Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Friday, August 19

Warm and sunny days ahead

At night it will be clear and almost quiet. Tomorrow will be sunny over the country with brief cloud cover in the afternoon and light to moderate northeast winds. Maximum temperatures will be between 34° and 39°C, in Sofia around 34°C.

Cumulus clouds will develop along the Black Sea coast in the afternoon and in places, mainly in the north, it will rain. Maximum temperatures will be between 29° and 34°C. Sea water temperature will be 25°-27°C. The sea swell will be 1-2.

Over the  Balkan Mountains and Strandzha Mountains in the afternoon  cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will develop and in places there will be rain and thunder. Moderate wind will blow from the north-northwest. The maximum temperature at 1,200 metres will be around 26°C, at 2,000 metres around 19°C.
