123 schools in different municipalities in Bulgaria will receive over 1,500 laptops before the start of the new school year, the Ministry of Education announced. The laptops are provided under the national program "Information and communication technologies in the system of preschool and school education".

Separately, Wi-Fi zones will be built in 125 schools, and 217 educational institutions will be equipped with modern interactive displays for learning in classrooms.

The aim of the national program is to create more opportunities for digitization of schools and kindergartens.

A total of BGN 12 million (EUR 6.1 million) is planned for this year.
