Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 12 Aug 2022

Clouds and rain expected on Thursday, sunshine along the Black Sea coast

On Friday, cloudy skies are expected in the western parts of the country, with rain and thunder in the afternoon hours. There are also conditions for hail. Sunny spells are expected in the eastern parts. 

Daytime highs tomorrow will be from 26 to 31 °C, in Sofia - about 25 °C.

It will be sunny along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Maximum temperatures will be at 27-29°C. The temperature of the sea water is at 25-26 °C. The sea state will be calmer.

Over the mountains it will be cloudy, with rainfall and thunderstorms expected in the western mountain massifs in the afternoon. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be 21 °C, at 2,000 m - up to 14 °C.

During the weekend, the air masses over the country will remain unstable. Rain is expected in many parts. Temperatures will also drop in the eastern regions.
