Ten Covid-related deaths registered for a day, 25 percent of tests are positive

There were 1,951 new Covid cases registered in Bulgaria in the past day, which is a decline of 659 in comparison to the previous day. 65% of the newly infected are non-vaccinated people. 25.1% of 7,760 tests were positive. The same indicator stood at 25.6% on Tuesday, the coronavirus.bg portal reported.

The number of registered patients increased by 816 to 25,973 as 189 infected were admitted to hospitals. 140 of them were not vaccinated. The number of patients in hospitals rose by 40 to 1040. There are 58 patients in intensive care.

During the day, 10 Covid patients died as 8 of them had not been immunized. The number of recoveries reached 1,125. On Monday, 2,896 vaccines were administered. There are 2,065,027 Bulgarians with completed immunization, which is less than 1/3 of the population.
