Weather forecast: August comes with cooler weather, rain in the Northeast only

Monday morning will be predominantly sunny, with more significant clouds forming in the afternoon, though there will only be rain in the Northeast of the country. The moderate Northwesterly wind will continue and gradually subside. Daytime temperatures will reach 27-32° C., for Sofia around 27° C.

Along the Black Sea coast there will be sun in the morning, with rain in places in the Northern portion of the seacoast in the afternoon. It is going to be windy along the coast. Maximum temperatures 27-31° C., temperature of the seawater 26-27° C., sea state 2.

Over the mountains temperatures will drop and there will be clouds in the afternoon. With the exception of the Central Balkan range, no rain is in the forecast. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. 23° C., at 2,000 m. 16° C.

On Tuesday temperatures will begin to rise and the rainfall will stop.
