Bulgaria reports 8 Covid-related deaths in past day

2,191 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 8,036 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, 796 down from the previous day. More than two-thirds of the new infections are among the unvaccinated, the positivity rate is 27.2%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data shows. The number of active cases in the country is up by 807 to 20,888.

199 is the number of new hospital admissions in the past day, 148 of them or three-quarters are not vaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital is up by 66 to 957, of them 48 are in intensive care.  

8 is the number of Covid-related deaths over the past 24 hours, 6 of them were not vaccinated. 1,376 are reported as recovered.

3,561 doses of vaccine have been administered on Monday.
