Weather forecast for Wednesday, 27 July: The hot spell continues, clouds and showers over Western Bulgaria in the afternoon

On Wednesday there will be sun, with clouds over Western Bulgaria in the afternoon. Until midnight there will be brief, intensive thunder storms. Daytime highs will reach 34° - 39° C., for Sofia - 34° C.

Over the Black Sea coast the weather will continue sunny with a moderate breeze from the East-Southeast. Maximum temperatures 27-30° C. Temperature of the seawater 24-25° C., sea state 2-3.

Over the mountains there will be sun. In the afternoon, a Northwesterly wind will usher in clouds over the mountains in the West, and until midnight there will be thunderstorms there. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. 28° C., at 2,000 m. 20° C.

On Thursday there will be rain and thunder over Western and Central Bulgaria. Temperatures will go down slightly.
