Prices in "Sunny Beach" now similar to those in Marmaris

After years of being the cheapest seaside holiday destination for British guests, this season Bulgaria's Sunny Beach has been overtaken by Marmaris, Turkey.

The Holiday Money Report of the British Post Office and the tour operator "Tui" compare the prices 8 holiday products - a family three-course meal for two, a cup of coffee, a bottle of local beer, a glass of wine, a bottle of sparkling water, a can of soft drink, sunscreen and insect repellent.

Among 36 world resorts, Marmaris tops the ranking with an average price for the 8 products of £26.13 pounds. "Sunny Beach" is just a bit more expensive with the price of - £26.19. The Portuguese resort of Algarve is third, followed by Cape Town in South Africa, Paphos in Cyprus and Costa del Sol in Spain.
