BSP leader Kornelia Ninova asked the parties negotiating over forming a new government, how long she should keep the exploratory mandate and what work can be done during that time in the plenary hall. The reason for Ninova's request was the "new situation" related to the decision of the Constitutional Court that declared the appointment of chair of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission unconstitutional. This creates the impossibility of determining the prices of gas and electricity.
