The possibility of forming a new government is becoming more and more likely, said the co-chairman of Democratic Bulgaria Hristo Ivanov after the negotiations with the Bulgarian Socialist Party, holder of the third and last mandate for the formation of a new cabinet during the current term of the National Assembly. According to him, the key issue is to strike a balance between There is Such a People and We Continue the Change in order to avoid new elections amid a number of crises.

Democratic Bulgaria will decide on its support for a possible new government after the announcement of the cabinet ministers. "We have worked on the first mandate with Assen Vassilev as the prime ministerial candidate, so this is not a problem for us," Ivanov added.

The leader of the Socialists, Kornelia Ninova, said that the second stage of the talks on the structure and composition of the Council of Ministers will begin on Monday. She confirmed the position of all parties participating in these negotiations that the Prime Minister must be nominated by the largest parliamentary group, the group of We Continue the Change.

"The negotiations are very delicate and complicated, but I hope that dialogue and common sense will bring us success," the BSP leader concluded.
