President Rumen Radev hands over third government-forming mandate

Photo: BGNES

Today at 5:00 p.m., President Rumen Radev gives the third mandate for forming a government to the parliamentary group of "BSP for Bulgaria". This is the last opportunity for the 47th National Assembly to form a new cabinet. BSP have already declared their readiness to receive the mandate, as well as to negotiate over the formation of a new government with its recent partners of "We Continue the Change", "There is Such a People" and "Democratic Bulgaria".

If the third mandate is not fulfilled, President Rumen Radev will have to dissolve the 47th National Assembly, appoint his fourth caretaker government and schedule new early elections, probably for early October.
