The European Commission is expecting from Bulgaria definitive convictions in high-level corruption cases. This is one of the recommendations to the country contained in this year’s annual EU rule of law report.
The EU is recommending that Bulgaria put through legislative changes aimed at the better functioning of the Supreme Judicial Council inspectorate and at preventing political influence.
