Bulgaria reports 1,005 new Covid-19 cases out of 5,203 tests performed

1,005 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 5,203 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours. 60% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated, the positivity rate stands at 19%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

The number of active cases amounts to 10,328. Seventy three is the number of new hospital admissions in the past day, 68% of them were not vaccinated. 448 patients are being treated in hospital, 38 of them in intensive care units.

Two people with an established coronavirus infection have died in the past day. 8,080 have been reported cured.

2,320 vaccine doses were administered on Friday. 2,075,801 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle. 8,288 have had a second booster shot.
