Weather forecast: Hot with afternoon rain in Western Bulgaria

Tuesday will be sunny. Clouds will develop over Western Bulgaria in the afternoon, and there will be brief showers. Daytime temperatures will range from 31° to 36° C., for Sofia around 31° C.

Along the black Sea coast there will be sun with a moderate wind from the East. Maximum temperatures 27-29° C., temperature of the sea water 24-26° C., sea state 2-3.

Over the mountains there will be sun, with rain and thunder around midday and in the afternoon over the mountains in the West. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,2000 m. 26° C., at 2,000 m. 18° C. 

On Wednesday, temperatures will continue high, but in the evening a cold front will sweep across the country from the West.
