The decision to expel 70 Russian diplomats from Bulgaria is not mine, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said. He is in parliament for a closed session with the heads of SANS, the military intelligence and the state intelligence agency.
Kiril Petkov explained that there was an interdepartmental report from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a decision of the Security Council. "The decision is based on this council meeting and three reports from SANS. These are all institutions responsible for security," he added. According to the prime minister, the reports are from May and June, but there was also information dating back to March.
