“The new majority, sealed by the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, GERB and There Is Such a People is replacing the President of the National Assembly so as to pave the way for the return of the previous government.” That is how Bulgarian Socialist Party MP Yavor Bozhankov commented the removal of the National Assembly President Nikola Minchev.

According to Bozhankov, all efforts, protests, all hopes of hundreds of thousands of Bulgarians to dismantle the malign model of governance by GERB party, have been betrayed by Slavi Trifonov and There Is Such a People. What comes next are snap elections, and this at a time when the budget has to be updated.
