On 15 June at St. Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia, the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation will bring together journalists, politicians and experts in a one-day discussion on climate change. They will discuss priorities and measures the country is taking to mitigate the effects of climate change in line with EU requirements.
Special focus is placed on protected areas and the role of protected biodiversity and healthy ecosystems in reducing climate change and adapting to it. Bulgarian examples of how interventions in nature further exacerbate climate change and the effects of climate change on people's lives will also be shown.
