Bulgaria’s Premier Kiril Petkov said he was going to Baku later this week to confirm the quantities of Azerbaijani gas for Bulgaria. Premier Petkov is paying a visit to the town of Veliko Tarnovo. Kiril Petkov expects the Bulgaria-Greece gas interconnector to be operational by July. Bulgaria will receive 1 billion cubic meters of Azeri gas per year via the interconnector.

"We are trying to make a mix between liquefied natural gas and Azeri gas so that the average delivery price is better than Gazprom's, to make sure that the Bulgarian economy is competitive and diversified", Premier Kiril Petkov said.
