"There is Such a People" (ITN) party is to request a closed session of Bulgaria’s National Assembly on North Macedonia. The session is expected to take place on June 15. Outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska is to present secret transcripts of talks on the subject, the Chairman of the parliamentary group of ITN Toshko Yordanov announced.

“We have not reached a formal agreement with Bulgaria, neither written, nor oral”, North Macedonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani said for TV21.

This week, Bulgaria's Premier Kiril Petkov was expected to submit a proposal to Bulgarian MPs to resolve the North Macedonia issue. The proposal would have been backed by the opposition, Vlado Buckovski, North Macedonia's former Premier and special envoy for talks with Bulgaria, said for Telma TV. In Vlado Buckovski’s words, this was impeded by the decision of ITN to exit the four-party ruling coalition.
