Bulgaria will not send weapons to Ukraine, Premier Kiril Petkov said with regard to the note from Ukrainian Ambassador Vitaly Moskalenko, requesting Bulgaria to provide Soviet weapons to this country. Premier Petkov reminded that this issue had already been discussed and the National Assembly had already adopted a decision. We have done enough to support Ukraine and we will continue to help this country, Premier Petkov noted.

After 105 days of fighting, the battle for Severodonetsk continues. Roughly 800 civilians are hiding across several bomb shelters located under the Azot chemical factory in the city, AFP announced.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu claims that Russian forces have seized the residential quarters of Severodonetsk and are fighting to take control of an industrial zone. “Ukraine has to achieve full control of our entire territory”, President Volodymyr Zelensky said and added that his country had lost too many people to simply cede any territory. Ukraine’s President insisted that “Stalemate is not an option”.

Russia’s Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said that the Ukrainian ports of Berdyansk and Mariupol, seized by Russian forces, had been demined and were ready to resume shipments. Turkey is coordinating closely with Russia and Ukraine to agree a plan that would restart grain exports from Ukrainian ports, Turkey’s Minister of Defense Halusi Akar said. Russia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov arrived in Ankara late Tuesday. Minister Lavrov is expected to discuss the resumption of peace talks with Ukraine with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
