Arsonist who set entrance of Bulgarian cultural center in Bitola on fire has been detained

The man responsible for the arson attack against the Bulgarian cultural center “Ivan Mihailov” in Bitola, North Macedonia, has been arrested. This is what the Minister of Interior of North Macedonia, Oliver Spasovski, wrote in his Facebook profile, quoted by BGNES. "I am pleased to announce a quick and effective resolution of the case from June 4, 2022 in Bitola, as we have a detainee who confessed to the crime. We worked around the clock to find the perpetrator," Spasovski wrote.

The arrested person is popular North Macedonian singer Lambe Alabakovski, who has recently returned to his homeland from the United States. Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov has thanked the authorities in North Macedonia and Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski for the efficient work.
