Bulgarian fashion designer fascinates the guests at Cannes Film Festival

The garments of 24-year-old Bulgarian designer Desislava Tosheva turned out to be a world event after the Lom-born designer was presented at the haute couture showroom at the Cannes Film Festival.

The path to success: A business idea born of… the need for a stylish dress for the prom. The lack of a golden environment between price and quality led 18-year-old Desislava Tosheva to create her own fashion brand. This happened in 2016, and her goal was to be able to offer haute couture at affordable prices for Bulgarians. The enterprising young lady also created her website on her own.

The initial interest is huge, and in the first days Desislava received over 40 calls. In the second year of her activity she received an invitation to participate in Sofia Fashion week, but the biggest recognition for her fashion brand comes this year. She received an invitation to exhibit her clothes in the showroom of the Cannes Film Festival, which made her the only Bulgarian to present her fashion line there.

And the movie star who walks the red carpet with a Bulgarian dress is the actress Lea Mornar.
