With more than 82,000 active Covid-19 cases in the country, vaccination practically grinds to a halt

100 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 2,501 tests performed in the country in the past day, 193 down on the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The coronavirus positivity rate is 4%.

 71% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated. The number of registered active cases is down by 134 to 82,111. The number of new hospital admissions is 10, of them 7 were not vaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital is down from 483 to 470, of them 40 in intensive care.

3 patients with establishes coronavirus infection have died in the past day, none of them were vaccinated. 231 is the number of recoveries reported.

Only 35 doses of vaccine have been administered on Tuesday.
