The war in Ukraine takes centre stage at Davos World Economic Forum

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told a news conference that Russia could not cut off arms supplies to Ukraine, even track and attack individual batches. "We have a diversified and sustainable supply chain," Sullivan said after Moscow claimed it had destroyed Western military aid with missiles in the Zhytomyr region.

The president of the World Economic Forum, Børge Brende, called for a "Marshall Plan" for the reconstruction of Ukraine. "Even without a peace agreement, which is currently unlikely, we are obliged to start reconstruction work, at least in areas under Ukrainian control," Brende said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will address the World Economic Forum in Davos. The military conflict in Ukraine is at the centre of the biggest economic event, bringing together state leaders from 50 countries in the Swiss resort. Among the 2,500 delegates, there will be no Russian representatives at either the political or economic level, Reuters reported.
