Covid-19 vaccination comes close to a standstill

126 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 2,694 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg show. More than 63% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 4.7% of the tests have returned positive result.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased with 58 to 110,099. 29 patients have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 69% of the new hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated.

598 people are being treated in hospital as 54 of them are in intensive care units.

3 people with established coronavirus infection have died and 181 have been reported cured in the past 24 hours. A mere 73 vaccine doses were administered on Sunday. 2,057,788 is the number of people with a completed immunization cycle.
