Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 14 May 2022

Rain showers expected on Saturday across the country

On Saturday, the minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will be between 12 and 17 °C, in Sofia around 12 °C. A cold front will pass through the country. Before noon, cool air will enter from the northwest. The air mass will be unstable and rain clouds will develop. There will be local intense rainfall and hail with thunderstorms. Daytime highs will be from 25 to 30 °C, in the capital Sofia - up to 25 °C.
The weather along the Black Sea coast will be warm, with temperatures ranging from 24 °C in the north to 30 °C in the south, the sea water will be from 13 to 17 °C, and the sea will be calm.
It will rain over the mountains for a while in the afternoon. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be 18 °C, at 2,000 m - up to 10 °C.
On Sunday, the daily temperatures will drop slightly and will continue to rain.
