Trade Union "Defence": Five Bulgarian facilities can do repairs of Ukrainian military equipment

There are five military repair plants in Bulgaria which repairs of Ukrainian heavy military equipment. This was announced to BNR by Todor Vodenov, Chairman of the National Trade Union "Defence"


The state has at least 1,000 people trained to do this work, and more specialists can be hired. Vodenov also said that the trade union has repeatedly warned the country's top officials that Bulgarian military equipment needs repair and modernization, as it is very outdated - but to no avail.


Next week a Ukrainian military delegation will arrive in Bulgaria.

Petyo Milkov, director of the Cherno More Radars and Radar Systems facility in Varna, admitted to BNR that Bulgaria still continues to export military equipment to Ukraine.
