More than 16 thousand citizens of Ukraine are believed missing in war

Over 16 thousand appeals to search for missing Ukrainians were directed to the hotline of the Verkhovna Rada's Commissioner for Human Rights in Ukraine. Over 2 thousand of the reported missing are children. This was announced by the Ombudsman of Ukraine Lyudmila Denisova on Telegram.

Last night, all women, children and the elderly, were evacuated from the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical complex in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol. The news has been confirmed by both Ukraine and Russia. The operation was co-ordinated by the UN and the Red Cross.

A charity bazaar and a concert in support of peace in Ukraine took place yesterday in the Sea Garden of the Bulgarian port city of Varna. Singers and children's art groups and music and dance ensembles presented the folklore of Ukraine and thanked Bulgaria for its warm welcome and hospitality, BNT reported. The funds raised from paintings made by Ukrainian children will be donated to help their compatriots who are currently in Bulgaria.

The Multiprofile Hospital in Burgas has so far provided treatment for about 90 thousand leva (46 thousand euro) to hospitalized Ukrainian citizens. So far, however, the hospital has not received any funding from the state, reports BNR Burgas.
