We are boosting our defence capabilities, as are our allies,” Deputy Minister of Defence Yordan Bozhilov said for public service TV BNT. “We have to address a lot of chimeras, hybrid threats and propaganda,” he added.
Deputy Minister Bozhilov stated further that the only way the war in Ukraine can end is with the withdrawal of Russia. Otherwise it will be a protracted war.
“Russia must go back to the principles of international law. Anything else bodes long-lasting instability in the region and poses a threat to Bulgaria,” Yordan Bozhilov said and ruled out the possibility of Russia winning the war.
