May 6 - Day of Courage and the Bulgarian Army

On the Day of the Bulgarian army, May 6, attractive flights were held at Graf Ignatievo Air Base near Bulgaria's Plovdiv. Air combat and ground support with MiG-29 and Su-25 aircraft were shown. Dutch F-35 aircraft also took part. The crews of Mi-17 and Cougar helicopters extinguished the fire from the air, rescued the victim and carried out a military medical evacuation. There is no danger that the MiG-29 will stop flying, said the commander of the Bulgarian military aviation, Gen. Dimitar Petrov.
In Varna, the navy showed at the Naval Station the release of a ship seized by terrorists.
Combat receipts were also shown at the Novo Selo training ground by the ground forces of the NATO Multinational Battle Group, together with the American company Stryker.
