Premier Kiril Petkov to attend a ceremony for the construction of LNG terminal in Alexandroupolis

Today, May 3, Bulgaria’s Premier Kiril Petkov is to attend a ceremony marking the start of construction of an LNG terminal in Alexandroupolis. Bulgaria’s company Bulgartransgaz has a 20% stake in the terminal which is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. 

North Macedonia’s Premier Dimitar Kovachevski, Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic and European Council President Charles Michel are expected to attend the ceremony.
