Stand Up Bulgaria party is founded

The Stand Up Bulgaria party was officially established today. Former Ombudsman Maya Manolova was elected as its leader. The newly-founded party is to start touring the country under the motto “A new social contract- you deserve more for your work”. 

The party will initiate a petition with the following demands: zero VAT on utility bills and goods in the small consumer basket, lower VAT on medicines, non-taxable income equal to the minimum monthly salary in the country, a ceiling on the prices of staple foods, state subsidies for the first 60 liters of fuel for households with monthly incomes below EUR 1,278, recalculation of pensions, etc.
