Employers 'organizations in Bulgaria are pushing for the resumption of talks with Gazprom and the resumption of gas supplies, Economy and Industry Minister Kornelia Ninova said, as quoted by BNT and BTA after a meeting with employers' organizations.
Ninova said that the Bulgarian Socialist Party would propose that a ceiling or a freezing of gas prices should be introduced at their current value until the supplies get restored, and also that the increased prices of gas from alternative supplies should be compensated by the state.

The main consumers of natural gas are companies from the chemical industry and the energy sector as the turnover of enterprises is 17% of Bulgaria's total economy.
