Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has congratulated Emmanuel Macron on his victory in the French presidential election.

In his congratulatory address, Rumen Radev noted that Bulgaria highly appreciates the traditionally good relations of friendship and cooperation with the French Republic, based on our shared values ​​and our common aspirations to build a united, strong and united Europe.
Radev has also expressed confidence that Bulgaria and France will continue to work together to protect universal human rights, to ensure a secure and promising future for the citizens of both countries in this period of global challenges.
