Number of daily Covid-19 infections exceeds number of recoveries

254 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 4,153 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg show. 65% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 6.1% of the tests have returned positive result.

The number of active cases increased with 71 to 163,942. 31 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 27 of them were not immunized. 

1,063 patients are being treated in hospital, as 118 of them are in intensive care units. 1 person with an established coronavirus infection has died and 182 people have been reported cured in the past day. A mere 352 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday.
