Bulgaria’s Premier Kiril Petkov and this country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska met with North Macedonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani. The meeting took place after the opening of the new club of the cultural center “Ivan Mihaylov” in Bitola. No representatives of North Macedonia’s authorities attended the official opening, BGNES reports.
“All Bulgarian institutions and political parties are represented. This is a reflection of the national consensus with regard to our position on North Macedonia’s EU membership”, Vice President Iliana Yotova noted and added that Bulgaria had not changed its position on the dialogue with Skopje and that North Macedonia’s authorities must fulfill their commitments.
