Ukrainian tour operators have created refugee routes and are sending their fellow citizens through Romania to Bulgaria for a fee. This was announced by the regional governor of Varna region, Blagomir Kotsev.

He explained that in the last week the refugee flow to Varna has increased sharply because of the speculators.

Tour operators were taking money from people with the promise that they would be accommodated for free in five-star hotels

However, in order to be accommodated, refugees must have temporary protection status.
