Hristo Ivanov, co-chair of Democratic Bulgaria, which is part of the ruling coalition, called on the opposition in parliament to support the judicial reform which can be attained by way of constitutional changes. Addressing parliament, Hristo Ivanov warned that one more snap parliamentary election would only be “won by Putin”, and called for rationality and a normalization of political life in the country.

The opposition GERB party stated that before that can happen they want an apology for having been insulted and called “gangsters, mafia and status quo” by the people now in power.

The opposition Movement for Rights and Freedoms demanded that dangerous phenomena in the country, such as police brutality, be put an end to.
