In second place is the average salary in the municipality of Kozloduy of 1,168 euros, where the Kozloduy nuclear power plant is operating, followed by Pirdop (968 euros), which has well-developed copper industry.
Sofia Municipality is only in the 5th position, where the average salary is 956.5 euros.
According to the analysis, high incomes are registered also in the periphery of the largest economic centres Sofia, Varna and Plovdiv, due to the development of services in cities, rapid growth in the digital sphere and strong industry in the periphery, which focuses on higher added value and brings higher incomes.
