Bulgarian-Swiss cooperation is beneficial to both countries

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has discussed with the Federal Councillor for Economic Affairs, Education and Research of the Swiss Confederation, Guy Parmelin, the prospects for continuing the Bulgarian-Swiss Cooperation Program. Thanks to it Bulgaria receives experts' and financial support in promoting economic growth and improving working conditions, social stability, public security, environmental protection, the rule of law and strengthening civic society.

President Radev pointed out as particularly significant the successes in the field of vocational training, which covered thousands of Bulgarian students, many schools and companies. According to the Bulgarian head of state, vocational training contributes to the reduction of youth unemployment and the promotion of many small and medium-sized companies in various fields. In this regard, President Radev expressed Bulgaria's desire to consolidate the results achieved during the second part of the program.
At the meeting, Rumen Radev and Guy Parmelin pointed out the positive trend of increasing economic exchange between Bulgaria and Switzerland, as well as cooperation in the field of security and defense.
