“The Bulgarian Socialist Party will continue its efforts to persuade its coalition partners from There Is Such a People and We Continue the Change to withdraw their candidates for governor of the Bulgarian National Bank, and to nominate a single candidacy,” Bulgarian Socialist Party, BSP leader Korneliya Ninova said after the meeting of the BSP National Council. According to Ninova, this post should be filled by someone with a great deal of experience, not an MP.
“The BSP categorically opposes the export of weapons to Ukraine,” she said further, reiterating the position of the socialists.
