President Radev welcomes Albanian counterpart Ilir Meta

Albanian President Ilir Meta, who is on a two-day visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of Bulgarian Head of State Rumen Radev, has been welcomed with an official ceremony in front of the „St. Alexander Nevsky" cathedral in Sofia.

The two presidents laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier. Later, they will have a discussion, followed by plenary talks between the Bulgarian and Albanian delegations. Bilateral relations, regional partnership in Southeast Europe, and the European integration of the Western Balkans are expected to be topics of discussion.

National Assembly chairman Nikola Minchev will also meet Ilir Meta.
