Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 1 April 2022

High alert for strong winds in Bulgaria on Friday

On Friday, temperatures in Bulgaria will remain high. Lows will range from 9 to 14 °C and daytime highs will reach 20 - 25 °C. In Sofia the minimum temperature will be 10 °C, the maximum temperatures - up to 20 °C.

The Mediterranean cyclone continues to carry high dust from the Sahara desert. A moderate gusty southerly wind will blow in Eastern Bulgaria and north of the mountains. Cloudy spells are expected. Mostly in the western half of the country there will be intermittent showers.

A stormy to hurricane-strong southwesterly wind will blow in the mountains. It will rain over the western massifs, snowfall is expected on the highest peaks. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be 15 °C, at 2,000 m - to 7 °C.

Partly cloudy weather and scattered showers are expected on Saturday.
