Bulgaria reports 3 times more recoveries than new infections in past day

Bulgaria has reported 1,176 new cases of coronavirus in the country for the last 24 hours. Newly infected people decreased by 522 compared to the day before. 75% of the newly infected persons have not been vaccinated. 11.2% of the 10,528 tests performed returned  positive, data from the National Coronavirus Information Portal shows.

The number of actively registered patients has decreased by 3,149 to 183,892. 179 infected patients were admitted to hospitals. 77% of them are not immunized. The number of hospitalized patients decreased by 1,953. 214 people were infected during intensive care.

During the day, 14 people with an established Covid-19 passed away. 4,301 recoveries were reported. 

A total of 1,907 vaccine jabs were administered on Wednesday.
