Bulgaria's position on North Macedonia's EU integration will not change. The two countries have been working together; there is an improved dialogue and a real desire to achieve results and clear out accumulated tensions, head of the Prime Minister's Office Lena Borislavova said.

A meeting of the ruling majority on Skopje's European integration was held in parliament. Hristo Ivanov of Democratic Bulgaria said no deadlines had been reached for lifting Bulgaria's veto on the start of EU talks with North Macedonia. Ivanov recalled that Sofia has a Framework Position adopted by all parties in the 44th National Assembly. The BSP also said that they have a consistent position on the topic.
